Pnuemonia…

UGH! Yup, I have had pneumonia and it takes over your life. Literally and physically. Glad to be among the living again. Believe me, it feels good to fold laundry. I did have one day last week when I felt good though and a friend and I went on a research trip together. We met [...]

Empty Nest…

Well almost. My oldest two children will be moving into the dorms in a few days. My oldest two children are 16 months and 6 days apart in age. My oldest had a speech delay of 18 months, so they seemed to hit most developmental milestones those first few years at around the same time [...]

Organization-for the genealogist…

My life gets hectic at times. I have three children-two of which are in college, an elderly mother, a husband, a house, my church work and hopefully soon a new job. Finding time to do genealogy is sometimes hard, and when I find it, I like to pick up where I left off. I’ve tried [...]

Don’t Ask Me…

My aunt has been visiting, and she and my mom were going to cook dinner and serve it for everyone yesterday. I suggested my house instead of mom’s small apartment, since it’s bigger and more room for everyone to move around and the kids could swim while they cook and play instead of getting fussed [...]
