James A. Edde

James A. Edde, son of James Edde and Sarah Scribner,  served under Peter Turney in Company E., 1st TN as part of the Lynchburg Rangers. He fought in the Battle of Cancellorsville, where he died on 04 May 1863, from injuries he received in battle. The Rangers were part of the Tennessee Brigade and served under General Stonewall Jackson.

On 13 Jun 1863, his lodge in Lincoln County, TN recognized his service with 30 days of mourning. 

He is buried in Fredericksburg, VA in the Conferederate Cemetery.
